I never thought a (semi) floral chypre would be my jam, but here I am. I think it's fantastic. Maybe grab a sample first, though. This profile probably isn't universally loved.

This is such a dreamy, elegant vintage style scent that works for all seasons and lingers beautifully. Makes me feel fancy in a nonchalant way.

I am addicted to this scent! I purchased a travel size for my sister to try out and she commented that she can stop sniffing her wrist. Hooray!

My preference in fragrance usually learns towards vintage (houses like Guerlain, Chanel, Santa maria Novella, Oriza legrand and Lutens are amongst my favs) but I am absolutely enamoured of Bruno Fazzolari's work and recently bought three full bottles of very different scents from his house, and am in love with all three.
Au Dela Narcisse is a throwback to a vintage chypre, but without the overwhelming heaviness of classics like Shalimar. (My mother wore Shalimar, and I had a similar relationship with her to that of Christina Crawford with her mother!)
As a kid, the highlight of December was being taken to a very fancy department store in Glasgow that sold only the best and most expensive products, and on entering the store there was a wonderful smell of vintage perfume and this conjures that up for me, and the anticipation of shopping for Christmas presents. It definitely has a grande Dame air about it, so it is not one I would wear often and more perhaps on a pocket square in my top pocket, or one spray on a scarf rather than on my skin. What I love about it is that hint of luxury without being overwhelmed-rich and expensive smelling but never cloying.
