I love Lampblack. Floral scents aren't my thing. I prefer spicy or woodsy. This is my second bottle and I don't plan to switch anytime soon!

Fzotic Lampblack opens with a flash of citrus that soon settles into something drier, from grapefruit to grapefruit peel. As it develops, the vetiver begins to emerge, followed by the signature inky accord. Lampblack never tries to become a "photorealistic recreation" of a print studio environment; rather, it captures something essential about that environment: its mood, maybe, more than its scent.

What surprises me most is how calming the fragrance is. I find myself reaching for it during anxious stretches. Perhaps that calm comes from nostalgia. The scent recalls, at some indistinct level, long hours spent in art studios: spaces devoted to concentration, experimentation, and the comforting possibility that making something might be enough.

This is a wonderful scent! It’s unique, gender-neutral, and long-wearing. I love many of Bruno’s creations, but this is among my favorites. It also feels season-neutral, another bonus. I think fans of vetiverissimo will also love this.

This is one of my favorite scents due to its uniqueness. People constantly ask me what I’m wearing. I want to smell ALL of Bruno’s scents.

I'm a big fan of the collection and have worked through lots of samples and some full bottles (vetiverissimo is my go to for work events and lots of social functions) and in that time I have worked my way through probably half a dozen samples of lampblack. I love it so much and have been toying with buying a full bottle for probably 2 yrs.
It's pretty bold so I have been having fun experimenting with where and how I wear it. More polarizing than some things I wear, but still a consistent compliment getter.

Most importantly, I still love it as much as I ever have and I'm really glad I took the plunge and got a full bottle.

Fzotic is by far my favorite niche brand and I really can't recommend it enough.

This unique scent is a welcome break from overpowering, musky colognes and perfumes. It is an elegant and needed change from the typical fare. The scent reads as bespoke and considered in a way that is reflective of a creative lifestyle. A treasured scent for any and all artists!

I usually opt for more floral scents but was looking for something a little more bold and this scent delivered. Excellent warmth and coziness with just the right amount of mysteriousness, definitely one of my new favorites.

As a graphic designer, Lampblack really speaks to me...there is nothing like the mix of incense and xylol (ink thinner)...reminds me of the days I did presschecks for clients. :-)

All of the scents I've gotten from Fzotic have been outstanding, though Lampblack is the one I have in the heaviest rotation (I think I'm on my 3rd bottle now). A truly unique and magnificent scent!

Taken back to early school days; fresh ink from the teacher's handout, longing to find that aroma. Today, the pairing of a freshly opened bottle of cola, the phisssh from the cap to the nose, and, sliced orange for my snack, while wearing Lampblack. I love it! The packaging covey's artistic curiosity.

I can not distinguish the different notes in Lampblack. There is no dry down. It is consistently mysterious. It is more yang than yin. I am more yin than yang. I wear it on red lipstick days. It lasts for hours!

I bought this as a gift for a friend who tried it in my discovery set - and when it arrived, I realized that I REALLY wanted it for myself... but she kept asking me about it! Complex, unusual, fresh and also just musky enough. Smells like creativity. So unique, and I love it on her. And now I have to go buy my own bottle because I love it on me too!

This must be the fourth bottle of lampblack I’ve purchased? Maybe the 5th? It is my favorite scent of all time and became my signature years ago. I really, really love it.

Based off of the sample, I ordered a full bottle. I enjoy the one-offness of this scent and how well it comes together. This has pulled me away from my typical "Green" scents (polo,aventus,curveball,envy) that I wear often. This smells as described in a wonderful way. Bruno FTW.

The description piqued my curiosity and my skepticism about this fragrance but at first waft the skepticism was replaced with embrace while the curiosity remained. The ink accord and grapefruit dance together in the smoky heart of the deep black scent. If your wardrobe features any black, you need Lampblack in your life. And if it doesn’t, you will still enjoy it and revel in the beautiful hand crafted frangrance.

This fragrance is one of those rarities; one that pulls you in.
Like when you hug someone in a cashmere sweater and then your senses catch up-- it is soft and rich and luxurious. The familiar fresh citrus welcomes you but then the deep smoky richness invites you to make a cozy nest and stay awhile

My husband purchased this scent, and it is exquisite. It's understated and elegant, a classic and classy statement that makes me feel like I'm out to dinner with James Bond.

I bought a full size bottle of this for my partner, who recently started getting into fragrance. He loves it and so do I. The smell of ink is so dark and rich, and I feel like there is a touch of creosote in there. Maybe that’s the incense that other people smell. This is a piece of art - and the bottle is as well.

It's the perfect blend of smoke and incense-like spice top noting over the jet black ink of a print shop. This has become part of my daily ritual and the last thing I put on each time I leave the house. I have yet to NOT be complimented on this scent whenever I wear it - it's THAT GOOD. Now I'm stuck in the hellish internal debate of "tell everyone so this indie scent-maker continues to thrive" and "keep it my secret so I eternally remain the sexiest smelling of all my friends." ;)

This is as inky as promised, and like no other perfume I've tried - sooty, sophisticated, just the merest tantalizing touch of sweetness combined with tarry depth and the right amount of effervescence from the citrus notes. It makes me think of cities at night when the neon lights blaze and the steel burns hot, and it lasts for hours like a kiss of polished chrome. I bought this on the recommendation of a friend and I'm hooked.
